The good thing about the training of puppy to walk on a leash is that you can prevent all problems before they eventuate. It 's much easier to start training leash at the initial stage with a puppy, that a retraining older dog with the problems of behavior established the leash. Having successfully trained a puppy dog leash makes life much easier and safer future for dogs. And of course that means that taking your dog for a walk is a fun experience for both you and the owner even your dog. How to train a puppy for a walk on the first point of LeashThe can happen once you get your young puppy's house. Just get your pup experienced and comfortable wearing a collar. A simple collar dell'inarcamento is fine for this purpose. Put the collar on when your puppy fired or when you are playing with him. Most puppies don 't have a problem with the collar, it can take just recently become accustomed. If your puppy is rolling around or trying to scratch the collar off, don 't take him out of him now. Attendalo until it is filed down or forgotten in this connection, and then delete it. The following item is similar to the first, it involves the leash. This time your dog gets used to the look and feel of his leash. For young pups all you need is a lightweight, thin leash. You can upgrade to a leather leash work when your puppy is properly trained leash if you like. Put the leash on your puppy and just let check it out and drag it around with him (always under your control). Once again, your goal is to make your puppy comfortable with the leash and not fear in any way. When your puppy is fine, bringing the collar and dragging the leash around (may take a couple of weeks) it is time for you to take the other end of the leash. Make these the first shot, sharp and fun training of a leash. It always takes that your goal is to communicate to your dog pulling the leash is never acceptable. Consequently you should not ever reward her by pulling him inside. Both settled with your message to him and always praise his good behavior (in this case, walking on a loose leash). To start with just a walk around the house with a leash and your puppy that Trotta along the side of you. Diagli plenty of vocal praise, petting and even some compliments. At this early stage puppies love to follow their owners around, you should use this to your advantage. If your puppy pulls the leash (which, don 't ask him to know just immediately arrest of this stuff). Don 't it pushes back over to you with the leash, just above the name and praises when it comes. Then set off for more than a stroll and repeat this fix each time your dog pulls on a leash. Must be that trying each time on a leash, you must teach him that when pulling, it gets nowhere. The same correction applies when your puppy sit while you are walking. Don 't it pushes forward with you, just stop and called to you. This method of training causes leash your dog does not pull and you do not pull, just a nice loose leash hanging down between you and your dog. Take a bit of persistence and patience on your part, but it is good and true worth it.

Really to get it you hae to work and work with your dog. Go to a park or field and make sure you have a fairly long leash then let your dog roam but when he gets to far call him or say "back" and give a small tug on the leash. And hounds have been known to roam. But never ever let your dog offleash by traffic or when you are not watching him! My dog is very very good about being off leash (unless he sees a squirrel LOL) But one time i was playing with him when he darted in front of a car and nearly got hit!
